DR. SHAUN CAREY

Dr. Shaun V. Carey is in his third year as Superintendent of the Enumclaw School District and is making every effort to foster and cultivate the inclusive culture and partnerships to ensure the continued success of Enumclaw and Black Diamond students, schools, and communities.  His wife, Tonya, is also an educator and serving as an elementary mentor for the Franklin Pierce School District.  Dr. Carey and Tonya have three children, two sons and a daughter ranging in age from 12 to 21-years-old.  Dr. Carey's children are the joy in his life and serve as the "why" he is so committed to public education and leadership in schools.
